Delta-8 THC Questions

What is Delta-8 THC?

Delta-8 is a powerful cannabinoid native to the cannabis flower. Delta-8 is an isomer of CBD, which is a derivative of hemp and CBD, a cannabinoid found in hemp, and is found in our products with less than 0.3% Delta-9-THC. In other words, Delta 8 is sort of a middle ground between hemp, CBD and THC-Delta-9.

Is Delta-8 THC the same as Delta-9 THC?

According to The National Cancer Institute, Delta-8 is defined as an isomer of hemp "of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties." They also stated that "this agent exhibits a lower psychotropic potency than Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9-THC), the primary form of THC found in cannabis."

So, essentially, Delta-8 is similar to Delta-9-THC found in Cannabis, but it also "exhibits a lower psychotropic potency" and is found to be chemically different than Delta-9-THC.

Will Delta-8 THC get me "high"?

It is important to understand that Delta-8 THC is chemically different from Delta-9-THC by only a few atomic bonds. Most users claim they experience a mild psychoactive effect in comparison to the psychoactive effect of Delta-9-THC. Users have said they receive about 75-80% of the same "high" feeling.

Will I fail a drug test while using Delta-8?

Again, in order to use Delta-8, it is vital to understand that Delta-8 THC is chemically different from Delta-9-THC by only a few atomic bonds. While our products contain a value of 0.3% or less Δ9THC (or no more than 0.3% Δ9THC), there is a small amount of Δ9THC that may cause you to fail a drug test. If possible, please consult the administer of your drug test in order to receive further clarification. This is usually dealt with on an employer basis. Delta-8 is legal, but would still show on a urine drug test as THC. If a blood analysis was performed rather than urine, the test would show that the amounts of Delta-8 are heightened, while Delta-9 is not.

What do I need to use Delta-8 vape products?

Our Delta-8 cartridges are designed to attach to any standard, 510 threaded vape pen or vape device. If you do not have a vape pen or device that can attach to our Delta-8 cartridges, you can typically find a solution at your local vape/smoke shop.

Do I need a medical card or anything else to make a purchase?

Nope! The only thing you need is to be over 21 years old to purchase our cannabis products.

CBD Questions

Full Spectrum vs Isolate CBD?

Full spectrum CBD is a concentration of all compound from the hemp plant. Full spectrum includes traces of all cannabinoids including CBD, CBA, CBDA, terpenes, fatty acids, and essential vitamins and minerals. CBD isolate is CBD that has been separated from all of the other goodness and nutrients from the hemp plant. CBD is said to work better when supported by other cannabinoids as nature intended.

How should I take CBD?

Liquid - Simply place the correct quantity of drops under your tongue using the dropper and hold the CBD oil in place for a minimum of 60 seconds. The 60 second hold allows for absorption via the blood vessels underneath your tongue – efficiently bypassing first-pass metabolism. Once 60 seconds has passed, swallow the CBD oil.

E-Liquid/Vape Cartridges -Vaping is excellent for people looking for an immediate response, as inhalation is the fastest way to deliver CBDs to your brain and body. To use vape simply exhale gently the air from your lungs then inhale through the mouthpiece slowly for 3 seconds. Then fill your lungs the rest of the way with additional breath and hold for a few seconds, exhaling when ready

CBD Edibles -With edibles, the only required steps are open, eat, and enjoy! This method of consumption will result in more drawn-out effects that also take longer to kick in than some of the other options. Edibles are great for those seeking sustained effects, or for those who want to be subtle about their usage of CBDs.

Do I need a medical card for CBD?

No medical card is required for CBD products.

Is it true that CBD products can alleviate cancer-related symptoms?

Some studies have investigated the role of CBD in preventing cancer cell growth, but research is still in its early stages. CBD may help reduce symptoms related to cancer and side effects related to cancer treatment, like nausea, vomiting and pain. CBD may also help reduce chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, which are among the most common chemotherapy-related side effects for those with cancer.
